Hi, I'm Gus! I'm a trans theater artist and technician.

I graduated from Rutgers University’s Mason Gross School of the Arts in 2024 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Theater, concentrating in Technical Direction. I recieved my Master of Arts degree from Adelphi University in Educational Theatre in May of 2026.

I have been working in theatrical scene shops for the past 10 years where I have developed skills with power tools, hand tools, and theatrical construction. My work with Rutgers Theater Company, both in carpentry and TD roles, has vastly improved my knowledge of woodworking, metalwork, softgoods, and rigging in scenic construction. I just finished another year-long season with Pascack Valley HS Theatre serving as their Scenic Construction Supervisor. This opportunity presented me with the ability to grow my leadership skills, as I advised students in grades 9-12, as well as my problem-solving skills, as I created clever solutions with a limited budget and stock at my disposal. My ability to lead with care, pay attention to detail, and exercise patience will make me an asset to any organization.
